Family business, family oriented. The best service and the best food!

I stopped here with my son on our way back from a fishing trip. The place looked busy, and that to me is a good sign. We were greeted by a waitress with a warm smile who spoke English very well. She was very pleasant and quickly took our order and delivered our drinks. We ordered a pizza with green olives and bacon. When it finally came, my son and I looked at each other in disappointment. The bacon was not pre-cooked before it went on the pizza, so it was half-raw. The bottom of the crust and the cheese did not like each other, and couldn't remain attached. The cheese (which was cheap mozzarella) was disgusting and very oily. The bottom crust was as thin as a wafer but was hard to cut though. We had to remove our bacon and couldn't finish the pizza. Seriously, I should have sent it back when it arrived. The waitress seemed embarrassed at the food, and did not charge us for any of the ingredients. When I went to pay, and to assure her that this terrible experience was not her fault, I pulled out my debit card to pay with Interac. She said sorry, it is a cash-only restaurant - no debit or credit cards. I had to make sure that it was 2018, and that we weren't put into a time warp that took us back to the 1970s. Actually, they used credit cards in the 1970s. There was an ATM right beside the cash register that was ready to reward the restaurant a nice service fee because they don't take plastic for the...uh...meal. And when I asked the waitress if I missed a sign on the door, or a note in the menu, that this is a cash-only place she indicated that it is not posted anywhere. If I could rate this no stars, I would. The decor and furniture is also 1970s, and the bathroom is a one person at a time deal with no urinal in the boys' room. This restaurant will remain as much a legend to us as the fishing trip itself. I'm sure that we will never forget it.

Very nice place but you have to pay cash only

Good food fair price and great staff.

At first i thought the staff lady was a little rude, but soon she turned out to be the nicest person! We were a table of 7 and all took the brunch buffet, it was good and warm, i will go back, this if sure! The only down side was the lack of interac/debit/credit, i mean we are in 2018, who uses ATMs anymore!!! I know i use my phone 90% of the time!!
